Welcome to ConfirmCOD. By installing our Shopify App, you agree to these terms. We keep this simple because nobody likes reading legal jargon.

1. The Service

ConfirmCOD provides an automated service to verify Cash on Delivery (COD) orders via WhatsApp. We act as an intermediary between your Shopify store and the WhatsApp Business API.

2. Credits & Payments

• Pay As You Go: You purchase credits in advance. Credits do not expire.
• Usage Rates: 1 Credit is deducted for every verification message sent to an Indian number (+91). International numbers require 5 Credits due to higher carrier costs.
• No Refunds: Once credits are purchased, they are non-refundable, except in cases where the App fails to function due to our technical error.

3. Acceptable Use (Don’t Be a Spammer)

You agree to use ConfirmCOD solely for transactional order verification. You strictly agree NOT to use our service for:

• Marketing or promotional blasts.
• Spamming unsolicited numbers.
• Harassing customers.

Violation of this policy will result in an immediate ban without refund. We protect our WhatsApp API reputation aggressively.

4. Limitation of Liability

We try our best to keep the service running 24/7, but we are not liable for:

• Meta/WhatsApp Outages: If WhatsApp is down, we cannot send messages.
• Customer Behavior: A “Verified” tag does not legally guarantee the customer will accept the parcel. It simply means they confirmed intent on WhatsApp. We are not responsible for RTOs that still occur.

5. Data & Privacy

Your data belongs to you. We only access the order details necessary to send the message. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details.

6. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Vadodara, Gujarat.
